The National Ice Carving Association (NICA) is the only organization in the United States that is devoted to promoting the art of ice sculpture, networking carvers, education, business and competition across the country and around the world. With nearly 400 members, NICA sanctions and organizes ice carving competitions around the world. Providing standardized guidelines for judging, learning seminars and certifying carvers, NICA has given the art focus and direction. Continually reaching for the highest standards, NICA carvers have become some of the best in the world.

CNC FREESTYLE
The Results are in for the CNC Freestyle Multi-Block competiton. "Peace On Earth" entered by Team Elegant Ice Creations / Cleveland took top honors with a beautifully designed Winter Festival Sculpture. Followed up by Stephan Koch and his great honey product display. Third place goes to Clinton Rich’s “Deep Sea Rock N Roll” which is like nothing I have seen before. Click here to see all of the photos with designs. Thank you to all who competed. Our New 2009 National Champion is Kevin Gregory! Congratulations to Kevin for putting up two very nice sculptures in some very rough weather. Eric Pfaff took home first in "Professional Division" at the Nationals, just edging out Dean Murray. Thank you for making Nationals truly a special competition! Click here for scores. Our new Tour Champion is Greg Butauski, scoring an average of 90.54 that's a gold medal average! Holding on to his second place spot is Stephan Koch followed by Chad Hartson. Thank you to all who competed for the honor and prizes of the Tour. Who will win next year?
