Scholarship Application Information
The National Ice Carving Association has set up a fund to assist College students in their pursuit of an "Ice Art Education". Students may apply for the Scholarship every year as long as the student maintains full time status. Students will only be awarded the Scholarship once during their N.I.C.A. membership as a student. The scholarships are not available to active professional or associate members. Students applying for the scholarship must be enrolled in a postsecondary school, college, or university and be a N.I.C.A. member in good standing. Onw scholarship will be awarded annually for $150.00. The scholarship money will be paid directly to the student. Applications must be post marked by April 1, and contain all supporting documentation. The Scholarship Committee will make their decisions by June 1 and will notify award winners by mail in July.

Scholarship applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria:
1. Involvement with the National Ice Carving Association as a student member.
2. Participant in N.I.C.A. Collegiate Nationals.
3. Sponsored by two professional members with letters of recommendation.
4. Official transcript from your school.
5. A letter from the student explaining why he/she should receive a scholarship.
6. A photo of the applicant with a sample of their work.
